Welcome to our Silent Sunday - Opening to Grace

Silent Sundays are an invitation for all souls longing to reveal the Spiritual Heart while sitting in silent contemplation and the practice of Mauna, from the comfort of their own home.

The theme of this first edition will be Opening to Grace, as it is understood across the world’s the major spiritual traditions.

This day of retreat coincides with the Sunday of Pentecost, an important moment in Christianity, commemorating the descent of Holy Spirit on the Apostles, empowering them to share the teachings of Jesus to people of different nations and languages of this world.

This event is seen as profound expression of Grace, and that Grace is not just reserved for a few, but truly a universal force arising from the generosity and goodwill of the Divine for every living soul.

It is an auspicious day to connect to this energy of Grace, as millions of people collectively remember and honor it. Together, will explore how Grace is a central principle in all spiritual traditions.

Through a weaving of teachings and contemplative practices, we will deepen our understanding of how the Divine can move in subtle, transformative and sometimes miraculous ways. We begin to recognize that liberation isn’t something we achieve solely through personal effort but in symbiosis with these mystical powers that we can open ourselves to - in our everyday life.

Practical Information

When and Where is it happening?

Our Silent Sunday - Opening to Grace - will take place on Sunday May 24th 2026. Please, note that the schedule is in Portuguese time zone. If you are joining us from central Europe, there is one hour time difference. You can join us online from your home through the platform of Cave of the Heart Retreats website.

How to prepare?

You will receive access to our dedicated group on the Cave of the Heart website, where we will post information about the Silent Day.

There will also be an introduction meeting on Saturday evening May 23rd 2026. It will be recorded yet be aware that it scheduled the evening before the Retreat day.

We will also create a whatsapp group for integration follow up and the final sharing.

How much is the contribution?

Since we wish to make the teachings of meditation accessible to everyone, we are offering this Silent retreat on an sliding scale basis, between 33€ and 111€, being the standard price 77€. You can book online directly in this website.
