Cave of the Heart Retreats About.jpg

“Of what use it would be to know everything else
 except about the subject
to whom all knowledge relates?”

- Ramana Maharshi

This is Cave of the Heart

a space of introspection and remembrance

Cave of the Heart shares the path of meditation and Self-Inquiry

centered on non-dual traditions around the Spiritual Heart, Hridaya.

We offer spaces to discover the essence of our being, that is revealed when mental fluctuations become quiet and we abide in the luminous awareness at the core of our being.

What is moving us to share Retreats?

Cave of the Heart started to share meditation Retreats from an understanding that meditation opens us to an inner, alive truth, the core of existence. The same truth that exists in everything.

Meditation does not offer an escape from our human reality. Rather, it invites us into a more intimate relationship with life, with the fullness of our own human experience, with love especially.

In meditation, we get to know a simple and pure sense of being and learn to abide in the silent radiance of the Heart. We basically discover a dimension of ourself that remains unchanged, a still center within oneself, no matter how chaotic and wild the outside can be.

This is why, through abiding in silence, we find a way to be less defined by our fears, desires, and fixed ideas about who we are, simply because we become intimate with a deeper, more subtle and yet more real sense of Self.

The great sages and mystics who inspire us, Ramana Maharshi, Nisargadatta Maharaj, Santa Teresa of Avila, Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche, Rumi, Anandamayi Ma, Jesus and many others, point towards the same truth: that beneath the changing forms of life there is something profoundly simple, alive, vibrant and ever-loving.

Cave of the Heart exists to share contemplative practices and teachings that help us explore this mystery together.

Meditation is a path of wonderment, of devotion and intimacy for life.  Would you like to explore this path with us?

This project is coming from the Heart

Cave of the Heart Retreats emerged from a deep wish to be of benefit for beings, inspired from our school Hridaya Yoga and its founder Sahajananda, to whom we are immensely grateful.

We try to weave our spiritual understanding in the way we act in this world and in the offerings and courses we create and share.

This means that we live in the spirit of Karma Yoga and are committed to be at service to the spiritual longing of each participant. If there are ways in which we could be of support for your journey, please feel free to send us a message or a feedback.
It is our wish that everyone can benefit from the practice of meditation and silence. This is why keep our prices as accessible as possible and we are happy to offer low income discounts for those who need them.
