ABOUT THE EVENT
Join our 5-day Silent Hridaya Meditation Retreat in the serene Karuna Retreat Center, on the mountains of Monchique, Algarve.
From July 15 to July 21 in 2026
This retreat is designed to open ourselves to Stillness and connect to the Spiritual Heart.
Open to all levels, this retreat explores meditation, Hridaya Hatha Yoga, and the teachings of Self Inquiry by Sri Ramana Maharshi, as well as traditions like Advaita Vedanta, Yoga, Sufism, Tantra, Kashmir Shaivism, and Buddhism.
The retreat includes 6 nights, 3 meals per day.

Cost: 585€ (deposit: 85€). Low-income discounts available for those in need.

Check-in and check-out:
On the first day, check-in is from 1:45pm to 3:00pm, followed by an orientation session at 4pm.
On the last day, we will break silence after breakfast with a meditation of gratitude and a sharing circle. The retreat concludes officially around 11:30am, but you are welcome to stay for lunch and depart in the afternoon if you wish.
